dj Desyn Masiello (ive never heard of him, but who cares, he probably havent heard about me either) as made a really nice interview, where he talks about a lot of things, but the most important one, he uses the "chilean" word on it. I wont lie, i think thats the only thing that made me read the interview, and what he states is this:
"I think everything new becomes a fashion to some extent, and you get a lot of people cloning the sound like sheep, but the pioneers of it and a few others will probably continue evolving. There is a lot of trumpet sounding tracks and Chilean goat farmer chanting going on at the moment in some of the more minimal tracks, and this stuff is absolutely awful: Anything taking minimal in that direction will be its downfall."
awesome stuff. But such a pitty, because i was hoping to do that on some of my tracks to be more original and then join me to the legion of chilean copycats around here. Yeah... then i can get more gigs, more money, more womans, more drugs and go to after hour thru after our, with my cool jacket and my cool ray-ban glasses and...

now on aserious way, i dont have a problem with people like villalobos or luciano, in fact i really admire those guys, what they have become and the things that they are doing, i have their records, and i listen to them, BUT.. what i really hate is the copycats, the non-sense music, the music that is just made for a trend, to belong.. without any kind of felling. the worst thing is that when they play on some party they think they are just god-like. Fuck sake..

el dj Desyn Masiello (nunca he escuchado de él, pero a quien le importa, lo más probable es que él nunca haya escuchado de mi) ha hecho una muy buena entrevista, donde habla de bastantes cosas pero lo más importante es que ocupa la palabra "chilean" (chileno) en ella. No mentiré, quizas esta puede ser la única razón por la cual la leí y en donde dice lo siguiente ("google traductor" traduce así):
"Creo que todo lo nuevo se convierte en una moda hasta cierto punto, y usted consigue un montón de gente clonando el sonido como ovejas, pero solo los pioneros de la misma y algunos otros probablemente seguirán evolucionando. Hay un montón de sonido de trompeta y cantos de "Granjeros de cabra de Chile" pasando por todas las pistas más mínimal, y esto es absolutamente terrible: Algo que tome lo mínimo en esa dirección será su caída"
Increíble, pero una lástima ya que justo pensaba hacer algo así para mis propias canciones para tener más originalidad y asi poder unirme a la legión de imitadores chilenos que abundan por aquí. Eso!..... así puedo obtener más tocatas, más dinero, más mujeres, más drogas y pasarme de after hour a after hour con mi chaqueta perfecta y mis lentes ray-ban y...
oops!.. me dejé llevar, lo lamento...
De manera seria, la verdad no tengo nada en contra de villalobos o luciano, de hecho admiro mucho a esos "tíos", lo que han logrado y en lo que se han convertido es notable, tengo sus discos y los escucho, PERO lo que realmente odio son los imitadores, la música sin sentido o sentimiento, la música que se hace solo por moda, para pertenecer.... Lo peor es cuando los ves tocar en alguna fiesta creen que son lo máximo, las estrellas, casi dios. terrible..
