when someone ask me about my influences i always answer the same, my bloody valentine or the velvet underground, but i think at this point is just a reflex of my mind. Although i love those bands, i dont usually listen them anymore...
I cant tell you what my exact influences are but i know we all have songs that changed our life completly and this one is one of those for me, "The Remote Viewer - they`re closing down the shop". I remember when i first listened maybe three or four years ago i was totally blown away..... now i have just founded again and i still feel the same. Its so beautiful and simple, so full in its own way. Their album, "Let Your Heart Draw A Line" is a masterpiece on sentimental music and i hope you can take everything out of it..
if you listen the end of the song carefully you will notice something similar to one of my own "psprf frame". Of course they are completly different songs, but i was so in to it when i made that track that its obvious. I think everybody needs influences and music sometimes represent our whole life at certain point... the music we heard, our friends, our family.. the good things, the feelings and the emotions of a certain moment. I think is ok to get carried away with that but for me its important to be honest. With this i mean to be "honest" with everything you are and what you are doing, try to put what you feel is true or what you find beatifull on a song you are making, or if you are a writer a painter or a constructer, whatever you are just let your heart and love do it for you. You will see that love makes everything much more beautifull.

Cuando alguien me pregunta en cualquier momento sobre mis influencias siempre respondo lo mismo, my bloody valentine o the velvet underground, pero hoy por hoy siento que es tan solo una respuesta refleja de mi mente. Si... amo esas bandas, pero usualmente ya no las escucho...
No puedo enumerar todas las influencias que tengo, pero sé que todos tenemos alguna o algunas canciones que nos cambiaron la vida para siempre en el momento que la escuchamos y esta es una de ellas para mi, "The Remote Viewer - they`re closing down the shop". Me acuerdo cuando la escuché unos 3 o 4 años atrás y quedé completamente en shock... hoy la he vuelto a encontrar y aún sigo sintiendo lo mismo. Es raro no?, pero hay cosas que a veces nos hacen sentir así, es tan simple y hermosa, tan llena de cosas a su propio modo. Su Álbum "Let Your Heart Draw A Line" es una obra maestra de música bella o "sentimental" y espero, si les gusta, le puedan sacar todo el provecho a él..
Si escuchan la canción cuidadosamente notaran que el final es muy parecido a una mía llamada "psprf frame". Por supuesto son dos canciones muy diferentes, pero la escuchaba tanto cuando hice ese tema que la influencia es obvia. Creo que todos necesitamos y tenemos millones de influencias y la música por supuesto encapsula un momento definido de nuestras propias vidas. Representa nuestra vida en ese momento, nuestras familias, amigos, amor... lo bueno y lo malo que nos está pasando, nuestras emociones y sentimientos en ese punto del tiempo. Siento que es muy bueno dejarse llevar por ello, pero más importante para mi es tratar de ser honesto. Con esto me refiero a ser "honesto" con lo que somos, sentimos y vivimos. Tratar de poner todo eso en una canción, todo lo maravilloso y lo malo.. y no tiene que ser solo para una canción, puede ser para nuestros escritos si escribimos.. para nuestras pinturas o a nuestras construcciones si nos dedicamos a eso. Cualquier cosa que seamos dejemos que el corazón y el amor lo haga por nosotros. Te darás cuenta que el amor hace todo maravilloso.
